    • @domyown
      @domyown 3 дня назад

      Chamberbitter seeds germinate in warm soil temperatures, typically above 70°F, in late spring or early summer. The seeds can be found in the axils of the plant's leaves, and each seed pod usually contains three seeds. As the fruit matures, the seeds can explode outward and spread to nearby areas.

    Hey my friend 'Do My Own'. Teaching homeowners to do this themselves is why the state cracks down on the pest companies for Fipronil in the water ways. California is so highly regulated, we get blamed and fined for everything. We are abiding with the California laws, and Mr. do it yourself over uses the product thinking that it is necessary to get them bugs extra good! They don't understand how to mix or apply, no matter how well your video is made giving instruction. Last, again 'we' pay, for continuing education, licensing, bond, insurance, we are the experts on how to treat. Leave this to the professionals, especially for the environmental reasons listed above.

    I don't understand the explanation in the video for using shrub height as an alternative to diameter for the calculation of the recipe. I have shrubs that have 3 main stems of about 1.5"-diameter but they then have and another 5-10 much thinner stems of around 1/4-1/3". Their height is around 6'. I was thinking that if you bunched all the stems together, they might be similar to a 5-6" diameter tree. But your shrub calculation seemed to leave some question- can you be more specific? Also, what's the harm if overdose?

    • @domyown
      @domyown 12 дней назад

      Most product label instructions do instruct applicators to use the height of the shrub to calculate how much product you will use. When you are applying a systemic to trees, you use the diameter at breast height to calculate how much product you should use. These are not interchangeable as you must follow the product label instructions by law. An over application can have environmental impact and you could potentially harm the plant as well. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

    • @williamlake
